Our founder, Clayton, was inspired to start Bow Tie Bookkeeper after struggling to find timely, quality work at a fair price for his real estate business. Determined to solve his own problem, he became a certified bookkeeper to be able to do his books for multiple businesses. His background in IT, Project Management and as a small business owner gives him a wide perspective to help his clients.

The goal of Bow Tie Bookkeeper is to help businesses grow, not just record receipts. We want to train our clients to understand their businesses financials and give them confidence in making financial decisions. We pride ourselves in giving a tailored and polished experience to our clients. You'll find our quality of work is that of a large company and our attention to detail is that of a small team.

We are Seattle based but offer our services remotely all over the country. We look forward to working with you!
